Dr Sheraz is a medical graduate with a PhD in Global Health. He had his PhD at the University of Edinburgh and post doc fellowship at the University of York. Sheraz is interested in cancer epidemiology with special emphasis on tobacco control. He also has deep interest and expertise in healthcare financing and health systems strengthening. At The Initiative, he is coordinating a multi-methods study on tobacco control in adolescents in Pakistan, sponsored by the University of York.
