In Pakistan, this study is being conducted by The Initiative (a non-profit research organization in Islamabad) in collaboration with the National/Provincial TB control programs. The primary objective is to assess the effectiveness and cost-effectiveness of mHealth to achieve continuous abstinence from smoking for at least 6 months. To assess improvements in TB treatment adherence and clinical outcomes simultaneously are two of its secondary objectives.
